Raised in a family of professional artists, Georges Tomb began his musical journey at the age of four. His breakthrough came at twenty, when the San Remo Symphony Orchestra performed his music alongside Beethoven, Mozart and Verdi.
Since then his works have travelled from the Venice Opera – La Fenice to Carnegie Hall, from papal Rome to the Cannes Film Festival — spanning classical repertoire, ballet, and original film scores. He is the commissioned composer of the Italian ballet Pinocchio with Balletto del Sud, touring worldwide for the 140th anniversary of Collodi's novel.
World premiere commissioned for US Memorial Day, with choir & orchestra under Maestra Joanna Medawar Nachef.
Introduced by Maestro Francesco Attardi at the Serate Musicali festival, under the patronage of the Italian government.
Official commissioned composer with Balletto del Sud and choreographer Freddy Franzutti; world premiere at the Opera di Lecce, followed by a world tour.
Performances at the Misericordia di Venezia during the Venice Film Festival and at the Festival de Cannes opening ceremonies.
